DESTINATION WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER IN RIVIERA MAYA

What I treasure most in my work, besides lighting and composition, is honoring each person’s story and culture. My couples are from every corner of the world, and often from different cultures from one another. It is my honor to see two families come together and incorporate the details of their cherished traditions into their photos.

While I’ve lived, worked, and studied all over the world, I feel an abiding love for Cancún and Riviera Maya. There’s something simply magical about the depths of the Mayan jungle, the white-sand beaches, the turquoise sea, and pastel sunrises. Everything about it exudes beauty and adventure. I love welcoming couples to my part of the world and sharing a bit of my heart along the way.

In college, I studied International Relations, solidifying my passion for culture, but it wasn’t until 2018 that I turned my focus to photography. To my surprise (and delight), my work was featured in the digital pages of Vogue Italia, and I knew —then and there— that I had found my lifelong vocation. I realized I could turn my passion into a full-fledged career.

Walking the gardens of Monet’s home in Giverny and discovering his Water Lilies at Musée de l'Orangerie was a profound experience. My love for photographing floral arrangements began in Monet’s garden.

As a photographer, I always aim to portray moments that would otherwise be lost to time. Photos are the closest thing we have to magic, and among the greatest gifts we can give ourselves to remember the full spectrum of emotion that life offers.

From the time I was young, I’ve loved the arts. My dad was a photography aficionado, and I always embraced the way a photo could make you feel something. I was something of an old soul —reading classic books, collecting handwritten letters, enamored by leatherbound books, obsessed with Rococo art, and swept away by beautiful cinema like 2005’s Pride and Prejudice.

When I turned 15, my parents presented me with the choice between celebrating my quince años with a party or traveling. Without hesitation, I chose adventure. We traveled to London and Paris, where I instantly and ardently fell for the architecture, haute couture, and distinct style of Europe.
